The purpose and the objectives of the National Association of the Cultural Centres from Romania

The cultural centre is a cultural institution which responds to the cultural needs of the community, by its activity.

County Cultural Centres, the Centres for Promoting and Preservation of the Traditional Cultural the Centres for Culture and Arts, the House f Cultures (with or without juridical personality, the Schools of Art, the Professional Ensembles aso can be cultural centres.

The organization has the mission to promote the professional, cultural, economical and financial interests of its members with the purpose of stimulating the socio-cultural and artistic life in Romania

The main purpose of founding the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF THE CULTURAL CENTRES FROM ROMANIA is to promote the professional, economical, financial, social and cultural interests of the institutions belonging to this area.

The objectives of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF THE CULTURAL CENTRES FROM ROMANIA are to create a system/organism able:

• to organize scientific activities and scientific research of local, national and international level;
• to organize ethno-folklorique research activities by local, national and international festivals and by editing and publishing speciality works;
• to publish the productions realized as part of the scientific activities and of the scientific research;
• to support financially and logistically the cultural projects of the ASSOCIATION;
• to protect the national cultural patrimony, be it material or immaterial;
• to represent the professional, economical, financial, social and cultural interests of the institutions belonging to this field binding.
• to award prizes and titles.
