Statute of the “National Association of the Cultural Centres from Romania”

Art. 1 Associates

“THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF THE CULTURAL CENTRES IN ROMANIA” is formed according to O.G. no. 26/2000, modified and completed according to the Law no. 246/18.07.2005, published in Official Legislator from Romania, First Part, no. 656 from 25.07.2005, concerning the associations and foundations, by the following founder members:

• THE COUNTY CENTRE FOR PRESERVING AND PROMOTING THE TRADITIONAL CULTURE IASI, represented by the director, ADRIAN ARDELEANU
• THE NATIONAL CENTRE FOR PRESERVING AND PROMOTING THE TRADITIONAL CULTURE, represented by the director, OANA GABRIELA PETRICA
• THE CENTRE FOR CULTURE AND ARTS ”CARMEN SAECULARE” NEAMT, represented by the director, HORIA CONSTANTIN ALUPULUI-RUS

Art. 2 The will to associate and the purpose of the association

The will to associate

According to our constitutional right to free association and according to O.G. no. 26/2000, modified and completed according to the Law no. 246/18.07.2005, published in Official Legislator from Romania, First Part, no. 656 from 25.07.2005, we have decided to associate in order to constitute an association with juridical personality, in order to promote the cultural interests of the institutions belonging to this domain, association that is constituted by the present Statute.

The purpose and the objectives of the Association

The cultural centre is a cultural institution which responds to the cultural needs of the community, by its activity.

There can be cultural centres: County Cultural Centres, the Centres for Promoting and Preservation the Traditional Culture, the Centres for Culture and Arts, the House of Cultures (with or without juridical personality, the Schools of Art, the Professional Ensembles aso.

The main purpose of founding the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF THE CULTURAL CENTRES FROM ROMANIA is to promote the professional, economical, financial, social and cultural interests of the institutions belonging to this area.

The objectives of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF THE CULTURAL CENTRES FROM ROMANIA are to create a system/organism able:

* to organize scientific activities and scientific research of local, national and international level;
* to organize ethno-folklorique research activities by local, national and international festivals and by editing and publishing speciality works;
* to publish the productions realized as part of the scientific activities and of the scientific research;
* to support financially and logistically the cultural projects of the ASSOCIATION;
* to protect the national cultural patrimony, be it material or immaterial;
* to represent the professional, economical, financial, social and cultural interests of the institutions belonging to this field binding.

In order to fulfill the objectives of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF THE CULTURAL CENTRES FROM ROMANIA, the following boards are formed:

1. The committee of scientific research and organizing scientific activities
2. The committee of valorization the traditional culture
3. The committee of preserving and promoting the national cultural patrimony
4. The committee of relational cultural management

Art. 3 The name and the juridical form of the Association

The name of the association is: “THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF THE CULTURAL CENTRES FROM ROMANIA ”

According to art. 6, al. 2, p.c, from O.G. no. 26/2000, concerning the associations and foundations, the name of the present juridical person is “THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF THE CULTURAL CENTRES FROM ROMANIA ” .

This is a juridical person of private law, autonomous, non-government, a-politic, constituted according to O.G. no. 26/2000, concerning the associations and foundations with the modifications and afterwards completions; it develops its activity according to the Romanian legislation and the present Statute.

Art. 4. The address of the Association is in ROMANIA, Piatra-Neamt, Piata Mihail Kogalniceanu, bloc H4, parter.

Art. 5 The duration of functioning of the Association is undeterminated, begining with the date of its registration in the register of associations and fundations.

Art. 6 The patrimony of the Association is consituted by goods to the sum of 700 lei, 140 photographs with traditions and customs in Neamt county, each of 5 lei.
